Store Launch : Case Study

In June 2018, luxury menswear designer label SS HOMME needed solutions for a press event to raise awareness for the relocation of the fashion brand’s store premises to a competitive neighbourhood in Khar West, Mumbai. The objective was to improve sales performance from the new store by creating a buzz for customers and ensuring retained customer engagement.

Client Requirements :

  1. Launching a 3500 sq ft store from a 900 sq ft store.

  2. Curating and sorting customised invites to ensure maximum attendance.

  3. Creating an aura and space where people could network as well as experience the store at the same time.

  4. Ensure maximum press activation.

Our Solutions :

1. 130 personalised invites were sent along with customized measurement

kits used in tailoring and taking measurements.Partnered with Le 15 patisserie for desserts and creating a premium experience and each attendee got a personalised store preview.

2. We also hired a professional photographer and created a press wall from scratch

which was placed outside the store of the fashion brand's new store

3. Press releases were sent to all major publications.

4. Press wall created for branding integration.

5. Valet parking arranged for attendees to smoothly walk in and out of the store.

6. Q/A content created with attendees in store for Instagram Stories integration.

The Outcome:

  1. Over 70 individuals from the Indian fashion and luxury industry attended the launch throughout the day including press, stylists, influencers and key UHNI clients.

  2. Sales from the store for the following months rocketed as retained audiences were kept engaged throughout this time period through direct to consumer marketing.

  3. Smooth and engaging store launch which placed SS HOMME store right up there with the other leading designer stores in the luxury category.
